Český Krumlov is a very attractive town for tourist to visit, 175 kms south of Prague. For hundreds of years, this town was the seat of many powerful Czech noble families, whose properties included nearly all of South Bohemia. The medieval centre of town which is surrounded by the meandering river Vltava, was written into the List of World cultural heritage sites UNESCO in 1992. This trip which includes a tour of the castle and town (lunch a la carte is not included in the price) takes approx 8 hours. There will also be a short meeting with local Rotarians from Rotary Club Český Krumlov. (czech/english)
