There are three duets, and one solo for each organist.
The organ duet concert is music for everyone. The concert starts out with a complex three movement work written by the English composer Samuel Sebastian Wesley. The second piece is a solo work for organ that explores the French world of organ music. Boëly was a French organist/composer who is for the most part, unknown to the public. The second duet is Five Spanish Dances. This is a great set of pieces that ends with a Bolero or a Spanish dance from the 18th century. The concert continues with a solo by Joshua. The Toccata by Marcel Lanquetuit is a festive piece that shows off the full resources of the organ. The final piece of the concert is a modern piece by John Rutter based on the Easter theme, 'O Filii et Filiae', a traditional 15th-century melody.

Joshua Brodbeck is a young American concert organist who is in constant demand as a performer and hymn festival leader. At the age of nine, Mr. Brodbeck performed in first concert in the United States. He made his international debut at 3the age of 12 playing for an organ dedication in Slovenia, Europe. Throughout his brief career, Mr. Brodbeck is known, and is commended for his varied programs that please audiences everywhere. He began his studies at Bluffton University at the age of 12 with Dr. Stephen Jacoby. After graduating high school, Mr. Brodbeck studied at the Capital University Conservatory of Music as well as the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University with Mr. Todd Wilson. Since graduating, Mr. Brodbeck has had coaching sessions with Mr. Paul Jacobs of the Juilliard School of Music and Dame Gillian Weir of the United Kingdom.
Currently, Mr. Brodbeck is the Minister of Music and Artist-in-Residence at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, he oversees the entire music program and concert series. Mr. Brodbeck is also the Organist-in-Residence at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio and Director of Worship for the Southern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Martin Kasparek
Martin Kasparek, having obtained degrees in music and music education, and the diploma of FRCO, taught music and was chapel organist of a school in Kent. His organ teachers at that time included Allan Wicks (of Canterbury Cathedral), Margaret Phillips and Lady Susi Jeans. Subsequently, he moved to Switzerland where he studied organ in the classes of Lionel Rogg in Geneva and René Oberson, in Fribourg, obtaining the Diplôme de Virtuosité, summa cum laude. He also took a diploma in harpsichord in the class of Marinette Extermann at the Centre de Musique Ancienne in Geneva.
For twelve years he was Director of Music of the American Episcopal Church in Geneva, Switzerland, where he oversaw the installation of a new organ by the Swiss builder Füglister, and founded a successful series of lunchtime concerts. In 1997 he was appointed organist of the Collegiate Church of St-Imier, Switzerland, a post he still holds.
He appears regularly as soloist, accompanist and as a continuo player, and has performed in various European countries, as well as in Australia and the USA. He is also frequently called upon as an examiner in various Swiss conservatories, and was until recently president of the SOPJ, a Swiss organists’ association.
