In 2019, apart from celebrating the 30th anniversary of Rotary in our two countries, we will also be remembering the Velvet Revolution, which allowed Rotary to return to Czechoslovakia. All this is connected with Vaclav Havel. His father and uncle where members of the First Republic RC Praha and in 1990 Václav Havel received the highest award from the President of Rotary International. This will be a short meeting to remember Vaclav Havel at his statue in front of the New Stage of National Theater. We will be joined by his brother Ivan Havel.
